MEMBERSHIP

The Club always welcomes new members. The application system is very simple; you can obtain a membership form from the bar (or download a copy here). Please read the form carefully, it must be completed and then signed by a proposer and seconder both of whom are current members and having had at least two years membership of the Club. It must then be returned to the Club together with a one off administration fee of £10. To download a Membership Form, below

All those applying for membership have their names displayed on the Club notice board for 14 days (as per Club Rules) prior to the application being considered by the Committee. All successful applicants are invited to attend a new members’ evening where they can meet Club officials who will welcome them to the Club and explain the facilities available, Club rules, etc. At the completion of the meeting which lasts no more than half an hour, you are required to pay the annual subscription (currently £25.00). You will receive a membership card and Club rule book.

You will also be offered the chance to purchase an ACC affiliation card for a further £3.00. This will get you into almost all the Conservative Clubs in the country with full members rights (you can, for instance, sign in guests). Obviously, you have no voting rights in other Clubs and some run draws only for their members only. An affiliation card can be purchased from the office throughout the year.

MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL

To renew please simply go to the bar with your new swipe card and renew. If you do not have a new swipe card you will need to pop in and pick it up and renew at the same time. If you live away, please contact the office on 01929 423600 / email swanageconclub@aol.com to arrange payment and postage of your new card.

TEMPORARY MEMBERSHIP

If you have friends visiting you can make them ‘temporary members’ for only £5.00 per week or £15 per month. This will enable them to take advantage of all the Club has to offer. 2 Days Clear Notice required by Law for Temporary Membership. To download a Temporary Membership Form, below.
