A warm welcome awaits you at Swanage Con Club. We are an open establishment where everyone is welcome, we have a two tier pricing policy.
You could benefit in becoming a Club Member with cheaper prices and additional facilities.
We also offer, for those in the area on holiday or only in the town for a short time, temporary membership for only £5.00 per week. ( For those who live 25 miles from Swanage) Please note that normally a 48 hours’ notice is required and must be supported by an existing member. About
The Club is ideally situated in the centre of the town only 50m from the train and bus stations.(Location) It was originally formed in 1885 and in the early years used various premises before the purpose-built building was erected in 1909-10 and occupied in 1911. Facilities
We are proud of the facilities we can offer. But Club members benefit from members prices for drinks and food plus access to the Snooker Room and Gaming Machines.
We have two bars, the Winston Churchill Bar is normally only used for functions with very competitively priced drinks and offer a similarly priced food service at lunchtimes Tues to Sat
We have a function room available all with Club bar prices for all occasions and an optional catering service.
Sports catered for include Snooker (two tables), Darts, Shove halfpenny, etc. Live entertainment most Saturdays plus draws, Sunday bingo, etc.
The Club has free Wi-Fi service available , just ask a member of staff for the password which changes periodically.
Restaurant
The main Restaurant is open and running with the main Lunch Menu and Friday Evening Menu Sunday Carvery Lunch will be available soon in the Winston Churchill Room.. Please see Specials Board and Menus or ask the staff…….Please see opening times and booking is advisable.

HIRE of Winston Churchill Room.
The hire of the Winston Churchill Room is available to members and non-members. The room can hold around 120 people and has its own bar which is fully-staffed for all bookings (min 50 people for bar). Catering is available upon request, as well as the hire of an in-built PA system including CD decks, IPOD and MP3 inputs, a projector with projector screen and a 75″ TV for presentation.
A hire fee and £30 refundable deposit is required for members and £100 for non-members. (see terms and conditions on booking form). A full list of Party Catering options are also available.

Members Sports Facilities
The Snooker room is available for all members and their guests to use during Club opening hours. It operates light meters (20p or £1) but is FREE on Friday evenings. The Club has two well maintained snooker tables.
Darts, We have 6 Darts Boards 2 in the small lounge which are available outside of Restaurant hours and 4 in the Winston Churchill Room.
Teams We have a Snooker team and a Dart team playing in local leagues but can always need new players.
